One month down... three more to go!
That collage was a very small recap of my first month here in Costa Rica. This first month has definitely been an experience. It's amazing to know that I have already been here that long. I haven't blogged that often but this is definitely a check point and accomplishment worth talking about. After one month, my Spanish is lot better, I've met new people (some that I may continue a relationship with after this trip), and grown and matured spiritually and mentally. I definitely see myself in a different way, the world in a different view, and God in a new light. There were moments where I wished I could just get on a plane, leave everything here, and be on my way back home. But this has definitely been a life-changing experience that I suggest everyone have, if they have the opportunity. Among the many lessons I've learned here, the biggest one is that there is NO PLACE that you can go that God won't be. God will be with you wherever you go. That is so amazing to me. It gave me a new meaning and appreciation for the word omnipresent. God is omnipresent. I've always known and understood that, but I do so even more now. Knowing that God is with me every step of the way gives me an overwhelming peace. It will be God alone that gets me through the next three months here in Costa Rica. I really do hope everyone enjoys reading my blogs and staying up-to-date on my experiences here. It has been like nothing I've ever experienced before.
(Also, I have a vlog of my first trip to the beach and waterfalls coming soon! It was amazing. Stay tuned!)
