"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer."
Psalm 19:14
Psalm 19:14
First off, happy new year!
As we start the new year, it's important to keep God's word very close to our hearts. This is a scripture that I want to be the underlying theme of my 2016, as it should be every year. Are your thoughts pleasing God? Are the words coming from your mouth pleasing God? These are things to be more aware of this year. Strive to please God in every action, thought, and word you say. Believe me, he's paying attention. We want to be a witness for God and we can't do that if we are not living according to his Word. We can live according to his Word by inserting Him in every situation in our lives. That assures that our thoughts, actions and habits are of God. When God is consuming our lives, our words and our hearts are pleasing in his sight.
